About

My name is Lewis and I’m a filmmaker based in Vancouver. My documentaries have screened at film festivals such as TIFF, Hot Docs, and Slamdance.

I recently directed a short documentary with Benjamin Taft for the New York Times Op-Docs called Holding On to the Farm. Before that I made a short called Say Something Intelligent and it was a Vimeo Staff Pick. I also recently co-edited a documentary about the TV show Freaks and Geeks that premiered at Tribeca.

My feature-length directorial debut, The Sandwich Nazi, had its World Premiere at SXSW where it was nominated for the Documentary Grand Jury Prize. I made the film with Calum MacLeod, Benjamin Taft, and a number of other talented individuals. It was not an enjoyable film to make.

Most of my films are on Vimeo. If you’d like an email when I post a new film, please sign up for my newsletter.
